All Black EVERYTHAAAAANG

Jacket - Newlook | Crochet Top - Cosmicchick | Jeans - Topshop | Boots - Topshop | Hat - Accessorize | Sunglasses - Primark | Necklace - Jewellery party (not sure where it's actually from :(( )

All black EVERYTHAAAAANG.. Whoever said orange was the new black eyyy??! On that subject, who's loving the new series?? I must say I haven't really got back into it yet as I've only watched a few episodes and it's meant to get better as it goes on but that's partly because I'm massively obsessed with the walking dead atm.. Why have I not watched it sooner?! Addicted!!

So this look is a lot smarter than my usual attire (minus the obvious ripped jeans) but what can I say, I'm a pretty casual sort of girl! I mean 9/10 your gunna find me in either, shorts, a skirt, ripped jeans or slouchy dresses sporting more festival/summer/vintage/bohemian/ beachy outdoor looks (if that even makes any sense? I have a very weird way of describing things :/) it's very rare you'll even see me in a very glitzy girly dress.. I can't even remember the last time I wore a pair of heels :/:/ mainly because I last about 10 minutes in them and I'm I can't feel my feet hahaha - am I normal?!

So before I bore you all any longer let me tell you about the outfit deets.. On my top half I'm wearing this beauty little crochet number from Cosmicchick, definitely my go to top when the weather warms up, underneath my Newlook smart blazer style jacket. To make this outfit more wearable on a daily basis I teamed it with my ripped skinny jeans as appose to a smarter pair of trousers and lastly to break the black up I also popped on my free fedora and my sassy snake skin booties.

Definitely check out Cosmicchick here guys and have a good little mooch about on there site to find yourself the perfect summer crochet crop and many more beautiful pieces!!

'Purple Velvet, Sparkly Deliciousness'

Dungarees - Topshop (no longer available) | Top - Vintage | Sunglasses - Primark | Shoes - Asos (sold out last time I checked)

So I wore this outfit to work the other day.. Who says you have to dress boring for work eyy?!! Ohh and if you've only just started to read my blog and didn't know, I've managed to get myself a part time summer job, YAYYYY!! So I'm currently working in Newlook over the summer whilst I'm off uni to help fund my ridiculous clothes obsession.. The struggle is real hahaa!!

Ahhhh this top.. I will forever be obsessed, it's definitely one of those wardrobe pieces that I'll just never bare to part with! Purple velvet, sparkly deliciousness.. What more could you want?!!

That White Shirt

Shirt - Topshop | Jeans - Topshop | Boots - THEWHITEPEPPER (Discontinued, try ebay or depop) | Hat - Accessorize (Discontinued)

So when I saw only one of these shirts hanging up in Topshop it was definitely a 'That shirt HAS TO BE MINE' kind of moment.. This however tragically resulted in me resembling a crazy person as I ran over to grab the last one! (and let me tell you, running about in Topshop wearing platform boots, carrying about 20 bags whilst also holding your hat firmly on your head to avoid it flying off just isn't a pretty site hahaa) Thank god I didn't know anybody eyyy!!

So I actually never thought I could love a plain white shirt so much, I mean my wardrobes about 90% colour. I'm usually always drawn to very colourful quirky pieces but there's just something about this shirt that I'm obsessed by and hey we all need a staple white shirt hanging in our wardrobes, right ladies?!

In the look above I've gone for a simple, smart, very basic look, which I'm really loving for a change as appose to my usual heavily accessorised, bold, unique style. However I also think this shirt would look really cool open over a bikini top with blue Levi shorts, shades, trainers and some groovy accessories.. STAY TUNED for that post!!

Striped shirts and summer daysss

Jeans - Topshop | Top - Topshop | Shirt - Urban outfitters | Vans - Schuh (old) | Hat - Accessorize (not available) | Glasses - Ebay | Necklaces - Pretty Twisted / Ebay

So let me just start by saying HALLELUJAH.. we finally have sun up here in the north!! Ahhhh that only means one thing for me, bikini on, sun lounger out.. It's sunbathing time!! So I thought I'd had my fair share of embarrassment when the postman decided to just walk around my back garden that day whilst I was sunbathing in a bikini but I think my incident with the window cleaner this morning definitely topped it! Ahh so awkkks, I don't think this whole sunbathing thing is working out for me very well hahaha just sums my life up really!!  Also my brother flew off to turkey yesterday and I'm extremely jealous, holiday hurry up!!!

Okay, enough of the rambling hehee!! So this was just a quick ootd that I put together at the weekend for what I thought would be a chilled BBQ and a few drinks, little did I know that a few drinks would turn into a crazy all nighter that I'm still recovering from hahaa! I didn't get chance to take blog pictures of it on Saturday so I got a few yesterday as I loved it too much to not share it!! It's a very casual outfit with all the pieces being very simple and when all worn together, it just works so well!! The glasses add that extra cool vibe and really complete the outfit, definitely my new obsessions (forgetting that in some lights, depending on how the light hits them they basically blind you and you can literally see nothing haha! I definitely don't recommend driving in them but otherwise LOVE!) Plus for £1 you can't really say no right??! (These glasses where featured in an earlier blog post 'a full outfit, including accessories for under £30' so for more Info and other amazing bargains check it out here)

Vintage Trousers or Pyjamas??!

Fun Fun Fun Timessss

Jumper - (bought off Depop but have no label) | Trousers -  (bought off Depop and again have no label :( ) | Shoes - Asos | Necklaces - Shop Little O, Pretty Twisted | Bag - Egypt (similar here) | Sunglasses - Primark

I'm a little bit obsessed with these trousers atm, I think they're actually comfier than some of the pyjamas I own.. Comfy and amazing, I've definitely found a winner! I instantly fell in love with the print on these trousers when I saw them on Depop a few weeks ago, admittedly I thought the style of these would be more of a tailored fit and at first was quite surprised at the three quarter flare style to them however I just think that touch makes them so much more interesting and unique.

So I know a baggy top and flares is not always the most flattering option and I wasn't really sure if they'd work well together or if I'd end up looking like a giant .but I really love this combination together!! So to keep this outfit looking fab and not like I've lost my mind and walked out the house in my pj's, I had to dress it up a bit in the shoe department and jewellery department.. Who am I kidding, I'm just obsessed with layering necklaces and needed another excuse to wear these shoes for the 50th day running hahah

Also remember guys you can still get 10% of all Shop Little O orders using the discount code 'AMYHALLIMOND' so go have a mooch at all their amazing pieces!!

Ohh and I thought I'd share a few pictures with you of my amazing weekend visiting my mama in Bradford. Hope you all enjoyed!
