Okay, so being a full time university student for the last 4 years, I've definitely had my fair share of 'oh Jesus I'm completely broke' moments 😂😬 so I'm definitely not shy when it comes to outfit repeating or going for months at a time without being able to treat myself to the newest fashion pieces/trends. However, I think if you willing to have a little play about with your clothes (one of my favourite things to do) there's no reason why you still can't wear a BANGIN outfit, be on trend, and look FABULOUS by mixing and matching different items from your wardrobe. I mean, unless we've got the bank accounts of Bella Hadid or Kim Kardashian.. we pretty much have to suck it up and make our old items work!

To be honest, I've never been a 'wear it once, your can't wear it again' type of girl, if I love an item I'll wear it every god dam day until people start to think I'm weird😬🙈. Another fab tip I picked up from a pretty early age too was... charity shopping! OH MA GAWD, you can find some amazing little jems in charity shops for a 10th or less of the price!! Some of my all time favourite pieces have been from charity shops!

Okay okay, so I've gone kinda off topic again but this post is basically just to show you how you can create two completely different outfits, for two completely different occasions using the same pieces!

So which is your favourite? Are you a dress it down or a dress it up kind of gal?

I also can’t resist a HELLA good festival/glitter face… and GURLLLL (or guy) these Technic Prism cosmetics have you covered!!

So. I was lucky enough to receive a fabulous package from technic cosmetics a few weeks ago. This package consisted of their new Prism range which is A-MAZING, if your into all things unicorn and sparkle!! For any of you who haven’t heard of Technic Cosmetics before, they’re a UK make-up brand who offer a wide range of products for super affordable prices AND most importantly all their products are CRUELTY FREE!! So, if you have a weakness for anything shimmery and are partial to some MEGAA mermaid vibes, then these are the products for you!! You can check out the new Prism range here and have a good mooch through their products!

Here I'm wearing the Metallic Unicorn Cream in shadeStar Light on my cheek bones, above the brows and down the centre of my nose.

My sparkling bag of goodies arrived in a beautiful iridescent make-up bag that’s a sure one to stand out from the crowd, and with a bag so FINEEE it deserved to be showed off to the world than see only as far as the inside walls of my bedroom. Not only do you get a massive revamp in the makeup department but also a fabulous addition to your bag collection too! By doubling up this makeup bag as a groovy clutch bag your sure to jazzzz up any outfit (as seen below). Yupp that’s right.. give me a makeup collection and I’ll find a way to fit it into my wardrobe somehow.

Without a doubt my favorite product from the collection has got to be the FABULOUS Rainbow Highlighter, the pastel rainbow colours are divine! I mean who doesn’t love a good pop of highlight? I’m a sucker for a banging’ highlight and this one just ticks all the boxes for me.. Gotta get that GLOW ONNN! My second favorite from the collection has got to be the Galactic Lip Glosses, I mean DAYUMM do they pack some SHINE. I received so many compliments AND man are they long lasting.. were talking about countless cocktails accompanied by lots of yummy food later AND my lips were still gleaming!!

Here, wearing the Galactic Gloss in shade, Ariel 4 Eric.

The prism range was inspired by all things colorful, eye-catching, and sparkle that will have you glistening from festival season right through to Christmas parties and ALL NIGHT LONG!! So GIRL (or guys), if your after a super FIERCE HIGHLIGHT, serious SPARKLE and a GLOW that will make your best features POP on the dancefloor, then this is the range for you! So if you want to release that inner DIVA then head over to and be prepared to SHIMMER, SPARKLE AND SHINE like a true rainbow QUEEN!

Saying Goodbye to Newcastle and All Things Summer

Skirt - Reclaimed vintage | Top - Urban Outfitters | Coat - Mink Pink (old) .. get the look at glamorous/Boohoo | Necklaces - AsosMissoula | Sunnys - Asos | Socks - Asos | Vans - Vans | Bag - Technic cosmetics

How have we reached the end of summer already?! :( Man time flies by! I mean the thought of colder, darker nights is pretty damn depressing.. am I right? Although I'm not ready to let bikinis, beach days, cocktails in the sun and that summer glow go for the first time in my entire existence I'm actually pretty excited for Halloween, bonfire night, and all the Christmas festivities to begin (mulled wine I'm coming for ya!). No but seriously if you know me well you'll know Christmas is not my favourite time of the year and I'm a summer gal through and through but I'm looking forward to what the end of this year brings!

So before my wardrobe completely transitions into autumn/winter, enjoy one of my last few summer posts (plus a winter shaggy jacket.. because I mean I live in England after all, so who am I kidding if I was to say that I didn't wear a coat throughout most of the summer😁).

Also this was the day I said goodbye to Newcastle (for now😎) where I've spent the last four years of my life at uni.. yup it was a pretty emotional day BUTTT I'm excited for what life brings next...

Its All About The Baker Boy Hat

Dress - Asos | Jacket - Charity shop (sorry guys) | Necklaces - Asos & Missoma | Bag - Technic cosmetics | Vans - Asos (sold out, find here) | Socks - Asos | Sunnys - Asos | Baker hat - Asos

(So by looking above and in most blog posts I'm clearly obsessed with Asos but I mean you can't beat that free next day delivery life)

Okay.. MAJORRR HAT OBSESSION!! If you follow me on Instagram (@amyhallimond) then you'll already know this, but I'm literally living in it atm! Ok, ok so I know I'm late to the party with the whole baker boy hat trend but I was less than eager to try it out after the whole cap trend. I mean you see all these amazing girls rocking a good cap on insta, well... (picture a dad at a family party on the bbq and yuppp that was me alright, so it's safe to say my cap went straight in the back of my wardrobe). However, I can happily say I'm loving the baker hat.. maybe even a little too much I mean I think my hair will be permanently flat when I ever decide to stop wearing it😬😬. So I picked up these beauty of a dress from asos and it was instantly a massive win!! How fabulous are the colours?? It reminds me of a candy shop which I am all about.. who doesn't love a candy shop right? So here I've teamed it with this cute little nanas jacket I picked up for a steal in a charity shop in Leeds, but I also can't wait to pair it with a cute little jumper over the top for a different look all together. Obviously it would look great on it own too but if you know me you know I love to layer and experiment with different prints so I've got a few other ideas of how I'd love to style this dress!

Oh &&& how fabulous is this little unicorn esk holographic bag.. which is actually a makeup bag from technic cosmetics but works fab as a clutch style bag to jazzz up any outfit!

Jumpsuit - Urban outfitters | Belt - Vintages rags (similar) | Denim Jacket - Vintage | Necklace - Topshop | Vans - Asos | Sunnys - River island

How's everyone’s summer going so far?? And how are we already into August?! Summers go by way TOO fast, how crazy fast has this one gone by already? and I'm so not ready for it to be over anytime soon!

Anyway, enough moaning. Moving on to this fabulous jumpsuit - I mean need I say anymore? it’s just a DREAM! When I first saw this beauty hung up in urban outfitters I was automatically drawn to this dreamy orange colour, a little bit more pricey than I would have liked to have paid but it was literally love at first sight (ok, so I may not actually believe in love at first sight when it comes to guy, well at least not yet anyways but clothes... when it comes to clothes I’m definitely a believer!) I just think it’s so unique and like nothing I’ve previously owned, so of course I simply couldn't resist (I couldn't help it... I’m weak ok hah!) However, fast forward a few weeks and I have no regrets! Its became such a huge staple in my wardrobe and I have so many different ideas of how to style this up! (I'm thinking of doing a '4 different ways to style a jumpsuit' post soon so keep an eye out for this beauty again!)

So yes this was a pretty hot day, one of only a few we've seen this year (pros of living in England right -.-😑 ) so I just styled this baby up pretty simple and popped on my vans to add a relaxed chilled feel to this look.

Ohh and then drank endless amounts of cocktails in the sun... what a great day!
